Casting Female Actor for Short Film
Actress is IMMEDIATELY needed for the role of SARAH for a short 10 minute film “Dear Alexandr”. The purpose of this short film is for graduate school portfolio, no commercial use is intended. Shooting is scheduled for Grosse Ile Township, a castle in Lake Orion and one other location in metro Detroit. The first shoot date is September 26th in Lake Orion, MI. The other dates are still being determined.
Synopsis:
Klara is a baroness and a pianist living in a very big castle with her maid Sarah. She has nothing in her life, but her friend Alexandr, to whom she passionately plays her music, in which she reveals that she’s in love with him. However, competition rises when Alexandr tells Klara that he has a new girlfriend.
Available Roles:
- SARAH: (Female, Caucasian) Must be able to adopt British English accent (will be coached, lines are easy). Must be able to play age range 40+.
Compensation:
This is not a paid role. Gas, mileage, parking and food on set will be provided.
